Evaluation Time

My yearly employee evaluation is due next month and it is time for my employer to grade my performance – below expectations; met expectations; exceeded expectations.  This has to happen every year for me to keep my job and that made me think it is high time that the deities of this world received their first evaluation from me.  Sadly it is not a pretty picture but here goes. 

I would not hire Jesus or Allah or Yahweh or Brahma, et al, to walk my dog much less be my personal god or run the universe.  These supposed deities have been around for thousands of years trying to convince humans they are the one true path to salvation and peace and happiness and ALL of them have failed miserably.  After more than 2,000 years there is not one of these deities that have remotely come close to meeting their goals.  Even Christianity, being the largest sect, has convinced a mere 33% of the planet to believe in Jesus, less than 1/4 believes Allah is the one true god and Judaism comes in at less than 1%. All have failed miserably to bring peace and harmony after having been given thousands of years - millions suffer daily from hunger, disease and other unspeakable atrocities.  The world is no closer to being a peaceful and harmonious place than it was before these deities were dreamed up by humans.
