Football Beats Church Anytime
American Atheists will be flying a banner behind a plane on Super Bowl Sunday. I think it is a great idea, since there will be thousands of people out there tailgating on Sunday morning instead of going to church.
The banner will read “Football beats church anytime – atheists.org.” The banner is scheduled to be in the air from 9:30-11:30 AM local time.

I wouldn't expect that any plane banner no matter the topic would be news worthy. So I wouldn't count on hearing anything...unless Fox and Friends decides to talk about it so they can bash atheists some more.
I'm of the opinion that football is equal to church. Mainly because I hate them just as much. But you cannot deny the fervor people have around here for their sport.
I hope it has a huge impact but we will just have to wait and see if the news media decides to show THAT side of the story?
