Hello, and welcome to the group.
Thank you Mr. President. I went ahead and liked the page, I am active in the facebook Athiest community, so much so that my little sister got offended and recently outted me (on the Atheism thing) to my parents whom. My parents and I have had some debating since then, and my dad made me watch some Christian video called "The Case for Christ," The former Athiest that made it, converted way back in the early 80s. I'm so glad to have the internet, where knowledge is so readily available! I knew plenty of facts that were left out because of ignorance of them, or ignored on purpose!
I feel your pain, I recently tried to reveal my opinions on religion to my father and was met with open hostility on the topic. The Texas panhandle is a difficult place to be an atheist but you are not alone! You should try and make it to one of our meetings sometime in the future should you have the inclination to do so.
I'd love to, the job market in Dumas is meh right now. Kind of stuck here for the time being.
